| How many cameras do you want at
your event?
Two or more
may seem obtrusive, but one cameraman can't be everywhere at
once. Many people want a choice of perspectives. For example,
with two cameras you can have one camera covering the bride
getting ready and one covering the groom.
I have a friend with a
Camcorder....
This is a lifetime deal. Let your
friend enjoy the party and I have a professional to do what he
knows best. Some couples don't realized just how important their
event video will become until it is too late.
Should I get both services from
you?
Besides a cohesive look to the
final products, there are other advantages to this group effort
approach. For example, two people with different agendas may
jockey for position or get in each other's way. Two people who
work as a team can look out for each other and keep in touch
about what's happening. Another plus is that still images taken
by the photographer can quickly and easily be added to the
video.
What is the proper clothing I should wear for portraits?
The selection of proper clothing for your portrait is a
critical factor in the preparation for a successful portrait. If
the clothing is noticeable in a portrait, it could easily become
a distraction...

What kind of camera & film do you use?
We use a Fujifilm FinePix S3 and Fujifilm FunePix S5. These
are digital cameras. We quit shooting with Film long time ago. I
also have a Nikon D70 as a backup camera.
Have you ever worked with interracial couples, black and
white?.. there are some lightning situations there.
The advantage of working with digital cameras is that we can
correct the exposure of the picture on the spot. We can also
work on the post production stage to correct any color density.
No I haven't work with a couple made of a white and black skin.
But I have worked with a couples with black skin and a white
dress or/and a white suit. Hard but not impossible.

What parts of the wedding.. do you tend to find as
important when taking photos.. events or reaction?
When I am taking pictures I picture myself as a
sniper with a camera as a rifle. I take all as long as they are
in my shooting range.
Do the 4X6 pictures come with an album? If so is it
pre-arranged?
No, I don't sell albums. Or I better say, I don't resell albums.
The internet is full of places where you can get your wedding
album at a warehouse cost. Still if you want an album, we can
look into it.
How do you identify your style?
It is hard to stylize wedding videography. As oppose to
photography you can only set two styles, documentary and
cinematography. I combine this two styles by documenting your
event as they happen. I add a cinematography touch by adding
music, slow motion, etc. For instance, recording the bride and
groom before the ceremony will give me the oportunity of using
cinematography style. Recording the ceremony, your first dance,
etc... will be a documentary style where I record actual music
and real background noise.
Are you a commercial studio or home-based business?
I am a home based studio.
Which types of videography do you offer?

wedding?
Yes, anytime. I always expect to meet the couple in our first
meeting.
How many videographers do you work with? How many at
the event?
My business is a family business with three family members
and three more videographers available. Videographers at any
event depend on the contract. My quotes are usually for one
videographer. Additional videographers can be requested.
Do you book yourself for more than one wedding in a day?
Weekend?
No I don't book myself for more than one event. My client
will know before signing the contract if I will be working for
them on the event day.
Do you have a replacement videographer in case you become
unavailable on the wedding day?
Yes, however, I've never missed an event.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the
day-of?
I have two cameras. Two on camera lights sets, one tripod,

tripod, then I won't bring them to the floor.

malfunction? What type?
Yes, I have a

Sony HD-FX1 both are professional cameras.
What type of editing software do you use?
I use Final Cut Pro, DVD studio Pro on Mac. I use Pinnacle
Liquid Edition for windows platform.
Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the
wedding party provide your meal?
All depend on the working hours and knowing ahead of time
what to expect. I don't need you to provide me meal but it will
be nice, after all couples always pick a nice plate.
How many breaks do you usually take throughout the day?
I set my own break rules by the rhythm of the wedding.
Usually my break is sitting or standing by looking for what to
shoot.
Do you charge overtime?
All depend, to give you an example. Last week I was hired to
record a birthday party for 3 hours at a club starting at 9
o'clock. People started getting there around 10:30 11 pm. As you
can see I didn't have that much footage. It wasn't my client
fault neither mine. So, end up working an extra hour at my
expense. In a wedding if I have everything I needed I always let
you know once I reached the hours established by the contract.
Do you give access to your raw footage?
Yes, I can give you all raw footage for a small fee.
Do you reserve the right to use a video in the future for
promotions, contests, etc.?
Yes, I do reserved all copyrights on your video. You can
expect only promotion to show my work to other clients. However,
if good reasons are given then we can change this by releasing
all copyrights to you. Yes, another extra fee.
Is the bride involved in the editing process? If so, how much
input does the bride have in editing?
Yes, she can be. Just expect sometime sitting with me.
